To get into biotic tuning is reestablishing a conscious connection with our biota and its beings so that life on our planet can manifest itself in its maximum splendor.
Only being conciously integrated in our biota´s system, which is always in a continuous improvement process to function the most effective way possible to perpetuate itself in harmony, will allow us to rethink our reality, transcend and adopt a more synergyc relationship with the ecosystems in which we live.
This conscious connection with our biota allows us to vibrate at a much more harmonious frequency and reach states of total peace and life fullfilment so that, from that perspective, we can co-create a world of global balance and well-being.
In other words, “biotic tuning” could be defined as a meditation in which one manages to tune in to the frequency at which unspoiled nature vibrates and benefits from all the positive aspects of being in a state of total harmony.
It may sound utopic, but to get into biotic tuning has three fundamental practical advantages:
It is an inexhaustible source of energy, wealth and satisfaction
It allows us to have another perspective of reality and to get out of the mental, emotional and sensorial encystment in which the systems that we all co-create have us trapped.
It diminishes the need for all those superfluous things that seem to aparently give meaning to our lives, endow us with a false identity and provide an always ephemeral satisfaction. In other words, it is a kind of panacea to achieve the much talked about sustainability of which we all speak.
Culture, religion, science, values, morals, ethics, politics, market … Except for certain artistic expressions, everything else turns around a common denominator: The human being as the center of all things and the absolute peak of creation or evolution.
Pollution, climate change, social injustice, extinction of species, loneliness, unhappiness … The fact of the matter is that we can not solve any problem using the same way of thinking that created it.

It is necessary to rethink reality and re-establish a conscious connection with the biota and its beings, enter into biotic tuning, change our frequency to vibrate in the same frequency as the Great Living Being to which we all belong and be able to relate to other beings consciously and as equals.
This does not imply at all renouncing the inescapable obligations inherent to our position as a species in the trophic chain but it does imply increasing our cognitive capacity, broadening the perception of our senses and unifying and expanding our consciousness.

Where and when can I get into biotic tuning?
Anywhere and at any time. Obviously, it is easier to reach this state minimizing the mental, sensory and emotional interferences caused by the collective unconsciousness in which we live most of the time and which keeps us trapped in the systems we create.
That is, it is much easier to connect to the Biotic Energy in pristine places and with the help of other life forms of the biota, especially with wise and long-lived activated mother trees that maintain a conscious relationship with people.
The Vadivian Forest in Los Ríos Region, south of Chile, is a perfect natural paradise to enjoy this type of primary experiences.
Does all this make any sense?
What we have described here may seem absurd for several reasons, in essence three facts that are very obvious:
Our cognitive faculty, due to the programming to which we have been subjected, limits the reality to what we believe is possible and eliminates what we believe it is not.
Our senses are atrophied because they have adapted to focus only on those aspects of reality useful to cope with life in the systems we have created and, therefore, permanently filter reality. We perceive what goes through the filter and we do not perceive what is left out.

Our consciousness is almost always fragmented and incomplete because we strengtehn one faculty more than another instead of integrating them: thoughts, emotions and sensations in a constant struggle of power.
Sometimes thoughts and ideas subjugate emotions and senses and that mental experience does not allow us to enjoy life. Other times we get carried away by emotions and become obsessed with any trivial feeling which prevents us from thinking clearly or enjoying the sensations. In other situations, we focus on sensory experience and abandon ourselves to hedonistic pleasure, disconnecting from thought and emotions.
The result is that when we intellectualize too much the experiences, even if we are immersed in a wonderful natural environment, nature neither moves us, fills us, nor teaches us anything. If we are lost in our feelings and emotions, it is very difficult to escape from our self-absorption even if we are in an extraordinary natural environment like a primary forest. If we give excessive preponderance to the senses, to sensual pleasure, as soon as the slightest discomfort arises, nature will be annoying and not pleasant.
These three facts, the limitation of our cognitive capacity, the filter installed into the senses and a permanently fragmented consciousness, makes us live in a kind of systemic limbo in which human beings believe that we are the kings of Mambo and the navel of the world. A totally and absolutely anthropocentric and disconnected reality.
We are abducted by the worlds of values, beliefs and systems that we have created as a species, which prevents us from connecting with the rest of living beings because when we have a good chance to just “consider them” – something that does not happen so often and that when it happens, is usually because we need them for some “practical” and “productive” purpose – we consider them different, unconscious, less intelligent or directly devoid of any intelligence and, of course, almost always and in most cases, inferior to us. That is, the being in itself, beyond its usefulness as a resource or its exoticism, simply does not exist for us.
But if we manage to increase our cognitive capacity, expand the perception of our senses and unify and expand our consciousness, we will discover that empathy with other beings, such as trees, is something natural and perfectly possible.
In that state of increased consciousness, each moment becomes an authentic, unique and complete experience, we connect with the Great Living Being and enjoy the mystery of being alive here and now. We realize that there is a wonderful, rich and perfect world that already existed before the appearance of the sapiens and that will continue to exist if the sapiens disappear, in which everything is related and where each being has its purpose.
This is much easier to achieve in some circumstances than in others. Let us imagine that we are in a primary forest of the Valdivian temperate rainforest, full of biodiversity, where nothing reminds us of the existence of our species. An ecosystem that has remained harmoniously alive for thousands of years without having been altered in its essence by man.
On the one hand, this environment will make it easier for us to abstract from our daily reality. On the other, we can count on the energy of the place and the invaluable help that brings us the powerful beings that inhabit these pristine spaces.
If we are able to feel the presence of the beings that surround us and perceive the emotions and feelings that nature produces in its talk of vibrations, colors, sounds, aromas, presences, contacts … And intelligent relationships of all kinds, we can reach a state of total fullness in which one is fully and truly aware of everything that surrounds him and experiences deep sensations of surprise and joy. As if observing the world for the first time!

But … And all this, what for?
It would simply be a more than enough of a reason the energy, peace and happiness we get by being aware that every tree, every plant and every form of life is a wonderful being and part of ourselves … This per se is an inexhaustible source of wealth and satisfaction.
But, above all, it is that the awareness of being part of the Great Living Being, makes us observe the world from a different perspective in which one discovers that life does not have to make sense to us, life makes already sense in itself.
It allows us to see a new world through the eyes of the Great Living Being and enter another much more harmonious frequency, another dimension of reality in which one, consciously, naturally and spontaneously, takes care of oneself and its environment.
Connecting with nature, tuning into its vibrating frequency, with its force, makes one feel satisfied and at ease, so you do not need to surround yourself with superfluous things to make your life meaningfull, to get an exogenous identity and provide yourself with a false satisfaction. You have much less material needs and that helps to minimize consume and to make the planet a more sustainable and a better place to live.
No less important is that connecting with nature´s harmony allows us to escape the impoverishing emotional, mental and sensory entrenchment in which the system has us trapped.
The patriot suffers, because his homeland is almost always threatened from within and without
The independentista suffers, because neither his own nation nor his homeland is recognized
The communist suffers, because his social model is threatened by capitalism
The capitalist suffers, because his social model is threatened by communism
And so the republican, the monarchist, the anarchist, the feminist, the machista, the fanatic football fan, the stubborn environmentalist… They all have fleeting moments of happiness and they all suffer almost daily. The point is that if those feelings are isolated from what produces them, those concrete feelings are exactly the same in all cases and in all of them.
One cannot change the system using the same way of thinking with which the system is co-created and constantly fed back by all of us. It is absolutely impossible. To change the system one must change himself, one´s focus, one´s behavior, one´s relationship with the biota. It is necessary to connect with the Great Living Being of which we are an integral part and harmonize with its frequency, to see reality from its perspective.
If a person does not like the system in which he lives, that person has to change oneself. It is not useful to try to change the system by blaming the system or its supposed controllers for what he does not like about the system but without abandoning the thought patterns of the system that one thinks he is fighting with. That’s absurd. That only contributes to keep co-creating and strengthening the current system. It doesn´t matter if you do it from the conservative, liberal, socialist, communist or anarchist perspective … It is the same plane of reality.
We can’t solve any problem using the same mindset that created it.
Let’s look at how the Great Living Being of which we are all part really works. In the most essential and basic differences. It seems coherent to think that as a living being that is part of a larger organism in which it is integrated and in which it fulfills a function (although we do not know which one), we should be interested in knowing ourselves and having that point of view.
Is nature divided, compartmentalized, enclosed, interfered with? Or, where it has not been altered by man is it a harmonic continuum where everything flows?
And we? Perhaps our compartmentalized, enclosed on all sides and interfered physical reality may be a reflection of the endless mental borders to which we submit? To what extent do these mental borders condition us? Are our systems in line with the current reality of sapiens on the planet and with our consciousness posibilities?
On the other hand, it is clear that sapiens are an indisputably gregarious species that populates the entire planet. Therefore, if one want to contribute creating a more harmonious world, there is no sense in isolating oneself from the contact with our species. It is not useful either intrinsically or extrinsically. It is necessary to share and live together. Having a system. But what system?
Let’s try to see what primary forests tell us, let’s connect, listen. Let’s stop co creating the system and try to be outside of it for a few moments . Away from its interference. In what is reality itself in the absence of sapiens. Let’s vibrate on that frequency to see how we feel.
To connect with nature in its purest state is to be at home, it is to be with oneself, to be able to vibrate and express oneself without judging or being judged in the now. In nature everything is intimacy.
The essence of this project of biotic tuning is precisely to connect with the Great Living Being in primary forests, get closer to its reality and share that experience with other people to transcend and adopt a way of being better integrated into the biota and that vibrates in a much more harmonious frequency.
For this, logically, it is essential that these virgin spaces, especially primary forests, continue to exist.
